Emojipedia Editorial & Social Media Content Assistant

Emojipedia.org, the home of all things emoji and one of Zedge’s coveted digital brands, is searching for an Editorial & Social Media Content Assistant contractor role.

As our Editorial & Social Media Content Assistant contractor, you will focus on helping us create, expand and formalize editorial and social content promoting Emojipedia as a source of emoji information, emoji designs, and emoji news.

You will be part of a joint product and marketing team that will drive Emojipedia’s user growth and engagement through providing well researched and accurate emoji information and news our users can trust.

⚡️ Write editorial copy and develop editorial proposals related to Zedge products under supervision of the Emojipedia Editor In Chief

⚡️ Develop and manage a social platform strategy and content calendar for Emojipedia in collaboration with the Emojipedia Editor In Chief

⚡️ Write social posts, videos scripts and more using the brand voice and style of Emojipedia

⚡️ Design visual assets for editorial content and social media platforms, presenting existing assets in an engaging manner

⚡️ Report on and analyze social platform metrics and trends

⚡️ Assist with administrative tasks related to editorial content creation, scheduling, and optimization

💪 2-3+ years of experience in editorial copywriting / social media content creation

💪 Native / fluent English language skills

💪 Proven experience in writing engaging copy for both editorial and social platforms

💪 A solid understanding of digital video and social media platforms including TikTok, Twitter and Instagram a considerable advantage

💪 Ability to interpret data analytics

💪 Examples of your published pieces of copywriting

💪 A visual design portfolio if you have those desirable skills

This is a part-time contractor position with earning potential of up to $1000 USD per month (roughly $40 USD per hour).
