Backend Engineer

This role is a unique opportunity to become a key member of an innovative and fast-growing technology company.

- Develop dashboards and post-processing toolkits following rigorous software development practices

- Creates code that extracts and modifies data from a range of APIs.

- Manage databases and write post-processing scripts to display key information

- Create, deploy, manage, and optimise backend solutions

- Maintenance and development of software documentation.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers

- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices

-Ensure efficien- safe and reliable data collection and storage

- Contribute to the company’s compliance with GDPR

- Degree in Computer Science

- Minimum 3-year experience in a similar position with exposure to commercial software development

- Proficient in server-side development and optimization of data, including database creation, management and debugging

- Proven proficiency in developing applications using Python, PHP, SQL, CSS, HTML

- Experience of working with large and complex SQL databases

- Previous experience of machine learning or artificial intelligence would be an advantage but not mandatory

£30,000-£50,000

- Prime AI operates as a full virtual office with occasional meetings in central London or Kent
- Applicants must be located in the UK and attest of their right to work, on a permanent and full-time basis, in the UK (Prime AI will not make or support visa applications).
