Our Legal team is dedicated to supporting the Worldcoin open-source protocol by managing Tools for Humanity’s legal affairs globally. We collaborate across the company to advance the blockchain project and enhance our products, including the Orb (our hardware device), World ID, World App, and World Chain. About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team at Tools for Humanity. As the first Senior Corporate Paralegal on the team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating our global business operations. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities
- Enhance Corporate Governance: Maintain and update corporate records and filings for all entities, including our US parent company, international subsidiaries, and joint ventures, ensuring accurate and current information for corporate governance and legal compliance purposes.
- Drive Operations and Project Management: Serve as a project manager by establishing and implementing efficient project plans, processes, and technical tools to help the legal team and other areas of the business navigate complex corporate and commercial challenges.
- Draft and Review Legal Documents: Prepare, review, and manage a variety of legal documents and commercial contracts under the supervision of attorneys.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Oversee the interplay between Legal and other parts of the org, including Finance, People Operations, Executives, and Directors in the US and internationally to anticipate, implement, and address complex corporate and commercial projects.
Requirements
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to present complex legal issues clearly and concisely across various platforms, including emails, memoranda, and formal documents.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a track record of improving and streamlining processes.
- Multitasking and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to multitask, problem-solve, and complete complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Professionalism: Strong judgment and high levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions.
- Willingness to Travel: Openness to occasional international travel and working a varied schedule based on the needs of the team.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (e.g., Paralegal certificate).
- In-Person: Able to generally be in the office in San Francisco, CA.
- Relevant Experience: 5-10+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal at a multinational company or law firm.
- Adaptability: Positive and collaborative attitude, comfortable with change and a fast-paced environment, and exhibits an insatiable intellectual curiosity.
- Professionalism and Integrity: Demonstrates strong judgment, high levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH in San Francisco ranges from $175,000 - $230,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
