‍What is Hiveon?

Today, Hiveon is a product company that develops the infrastructure driving the future of HPC businesses.

It all started in 2017 with a pet project that was released to the market by a few mining enthusiasts.
At that time, our Hive OS, a monitoring-managing OS, exploded and gained immense demand in the mining domain, 100k+ active users within the first six months without any investments or marketing costs.

Then, we expanded it to the eco-system, including Pool (the second Ethereum pool in the world in 2021), ASIC Firmware ( helping miners get more out of their devices), and more.

Since 2023, mining has changed. It has become more of an Enterprise with different conditions and efficiency. We have changed either. Now, we are a company that creates separate products for new-era hardware businesses in the enterprise market.

Our enterprise business fields are: Hiveon Energy (energy-managing systems, already partnered with Sweden, Italy, and the USA), Hiveon OS Enterprise ( a new OS designed for Enterprise mining business needs), and AI direction (Decentralizing and enhancing the democratization of GPU computing).

As we continuously expand our range of solutions, we are now seeking to grow our highly skilled team. Currently, we're in search of Software Developers proficient in Golang to contribute to our new product - Cloud 3.0.

What unique problem does this product solve?
DevOps has become very complicated and costly. We aim to offer a tool that enables indie hackers and small businesses to manage tasks manually, visually, and conveniently, with additional features that can be used on any provider at a lower cost. This serves as a comprehensive solution compared to alternative options.

Stage: on MVP

• You have strong general experience in back-end development
• At least 4 years of experience with Golang and you know its language specifications
• Commercial experience on high-load systems (from 100,000 RPS)
• Previous experience in designing complex loaded and distributed systems
• Extensive experience with Postgres, Redis, Apache Kafka or Nats
• At least Upper-intermediate level of English

Will be a plus

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Docker
• A background in DevOps is advantageous
• Familiarity with Nomad and open container management systems (e.g., k3s, Rancher)
• A strong desire to contribute to distribution efforts

‍About the team and structure

In this position, you will closely work with Project Manager, Backend Lead and Golang Engineer. Now we are a team of 80+ specialists and 6 products we are working on.

This is possible thanks to a flat structure, small teams, where everyone is a little bit of a product person, digs deep into the product and brings their own ideas.

• We don’t have absolutely clearly described processes, and sometimes you just need to do it in order to seize huge opportunities. This may not suit some people, and that’s ok.
• We have a technological product whose users invest millions or more in their business. Gradually understanding this market and products is a key criterion for further growth and productive work.
