Role Overview

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our dynamic and ambitious team. In this role, you will be integral to identifying, analyzing, and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities for Frachtis. You will work closely with portfolio companies diving deep into new markets and technology trends within the blockchain industry. This position offers the chance to gain significant success at an emerging VC firm at the cutting edge of the blockchain industry.

• Sourcing New Opportunities: Proactively identify and qualify new investment prospects.
• Lead Qualification: Meet with founders to assess and qualify inbound leads for Frachtis.
• Evaluation & Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence through conversations, market research, technology reviews, and competitive analysis.
• Database Management: Maintain and update our investment database and deal pipeline.
• Qualitative & Quantitative Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of various investment opportunities.
• Research & Content Creation: Conduct in-depth research in focused areas and synthesize findings into valuable insights.
• Portfolio Support: Assist in supporting portfolio companies and maintaining relationships with network foundations.
• Due Diligence & Financial Modeling: Support the ventures team in due diligence, research, and financial modeling.

• Blockchain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of blockchain technology and experience with crypto projects and white papers.
• Specialized Expertise: Deep knowledge in areas such as consensus mechanisms, middleware, decentralized compute, or related technical fields.
• Relationship Building: Exceptional relationship-building skills to connect with entrepreneurs and community members.
• Crypto Engagement: Active user of crypto applications and protocols.
• Additional Skills: Financial modeling or data science experience is a plus. Prior experience in a crypto venture firm and familiarity with venture capital and crypto deal terms are advantageous.
