Responsibilities
- Develop and implement game features and systems using Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to ensure smooth integration of gameplay elements.
- Assist in optimizing game performance through profiling, debugging, and testing.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing codebases.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with Unreal Engine advancements and industry trends.
- Work with senior developers to solve technical challenges and implement solutions.
- Support the team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in game development, with hands-on experience using Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency in C++ and Blueprint scripting within Unreal Engine.
- Understanding of game design principles and development processes.
- Experience with performance profiling, optimization, and debugging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
Will be a plus:
- Experience with other game engines (e.g., Unity).
- Experience in multiplayer game development.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and online services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Published titles demonstrating technical prowess and creativity.
- Understanding of mobile and console game development.
- Advanced mathematics or physics knowledge applicable to game development.
