Responsibilities

  • Lead the effort to grow our business through new paid advertising channels, by identifying channels with clear market potential, negotiating ad buys and building pilot campaigns, and rapidly experimenting to find channels that have the ability to scale.
  • Own day-to-day campaign management, manage budgets and deliver against quarterly targets for RoAS and/or gross profit
  • Define the strategy and testing cadence for a broad range of brand-new paid acquisition campaigns. Troubleshoot unsuccessful efforts, and make well-reasoned decisions about when to persist and when to abandon.
  • When appropriate, help to transition successful channels to other team members to scale further, and reallocate bandwidth to the exploration and development of additional channel opportunities.
  • Use strong business acumen to help prioritize business objectives
  • Serve as an expert resource to other teams, and act as a key stakeholder in helping us build better ad creative, better landing pages, and better conversion funnels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in digital marketing in fast-paced digital environments, with at least 2 years in roles managing a team of direct reports.
  • Demonstrated experience driving building and scaling paid campaigns across a portfolio of product offerings, which resulted in increased revenue or profitability.
  • Experience building and optimizing performance marketing campaigns, in a conversion-oriented environment, such as e-commerce, lead generation or similar.
  • Direct experience managing and deploying budgets of at least $20M annually.
  • Affinity for and experience with managing multiple direct reports, and in helping team members achieve their best work
  • Google Ads certification highly preferred. Google Analytics certification a plus.
  • Strong affinity for data and analytics, with the ability to decompose complex data sets into understandable levers to improve business performance.
  • A demonstrated willingness to experiment, fail fast, iterate, and succeed, with a track record of extracting concrete, actionable insights from test results.
  • Ability to work independently, and in a virtual team environment across multiple time zones.
  • A passion for travel and global cultures.
  • Agency experience is welcome. Client-side experience preferred.
