We are looking for an analytical, committed, and holistic People Business Associate to partner with leaders in the Engineering and Product organizations. The organization has been growing rapidly over the last 6 months and will continue to do so. So we are looking for someone to dive in and help build relationships with both the teams they support as well as the COEs. In this way the ideal candidate should have solid foundations in HR disciplines (like employee relations, performance management, HR policy/process development, career development, talent management, change management, manager coaching, and employee engagement). But then also know how to proactively partner with the business and can help coach and advise managers on change, performance, and talent management. Responsibilities
- Provide coaching and support on talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Analyze and use employee data to identify trends, organization needs or gaps, and other people's strategy to help business goals
- Partner closely with Engineering leaders and managers to provide strategic advice and help bring along the People team
- Leverage the People COEs (these include Talent Acquisition, People Services, Total Rewards, and Talent Management & Culture) and support model to ensure scalability and achievement of People team objectives, while also helping to improve and scale these models
- Help deliver people processes and programs such as performance management, workforce planning, compensation, talent development & reviews, career development & recognition, inclusion, and engagement.
- Serve as advisor and resource to resolving key employee issues including performance cases, interpersonal conflicts, and employee relations investigations
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a HRBP role, with at least 2+ years experience as an HRBP for Engineering or Product Management
- Demonstrated success in HR functional areas and partnership with COEs, including talent management, organizational design, total rewards, employee relations, organizational health, and program management
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders, including leaders Sr Director and above
- HRBP experience in the tech industry, especially with a globally distributed workforce, remote preferable
- Demonstrated success in scaling and differentiating people programs to align with business need/strategy
- Deep experience partnering with highly skilled employee populations and competitive labor markets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at or advising a web3 company
- Interest in blockchain technology and/or smart contracts
