As a People Partner, you will be a key figure in nurturing our company culture and ensuring our people strategies align with our business goals. You will work closely with leadership and employees across all levels to provide strategic HR guidance, support talent management, and enhance employee engagement. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, included, and equipped to excel.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic consultant to management on all things related to HR, including organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Talent Management: Participate in performance management, and employee development programs. Implement strategies to retain, and develop top talent and drive the development of a high performing organization.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for employee relations issues. Foster a positive work environment by resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and ensuring fair treatment.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives to cultivate an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are valued and reflected at all levels of the company.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure HR policies are up to date, compliant with legal standards, and communicated effectively to all employees. Advise on best practices and risk management.
- Data Analysis: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to inform decision-making, track progress against HR objectives, and identify areas for improvement across the business.
- Change Management: Support the organization through changes by providing guidance on change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs.
- Benefits: Own our benefits programs and evaluate and make recommendations for improved plans.
In the first month, you will be expected to
- Onboard and integrate into Docker.
- Learn Docker’s culture and methodologies.
- Begin to handle the day-to-day needs of our global employees.
In the first three months, you will be expected to
- Recognize, suggest, and develop process improvements.
- Have analyzed benefit offerings and have recommendations
- Actively engage with leadership at Docker, working collaboratively on strategic initiatives.
In the first year, you will be expected to
- Be seen as A trusted advisor and strategic partner with Docker’s leadership team, problem-solving issues that arise, and introducing new innovative programs and processes to employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years HR related work experience, preferably with a technology company, with strong experience partnering with leadership teams to align HR goals with organizational goals.
- Experience working with global organizations in the Americas and Europe.
- Exceptional full cycle HR knowledge and experience but benefits is your niche. Proven Ability to design and implement people practices that drive engagement and performance across the organization.
- Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in driving HR initiatives that contribute to business goals.
- Excellent teamwork and adaptability skills in a fast-growing environment, while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
- Highly developed in taking initiative and resourcefulness.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets in Excel and Google spreadsheets preferred. Strong understanding of using HR metrics to drive organizational performance.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and other standard HR tools
