About The Opportunity ✍️

As a Social Media Marketing Manager at MoonPay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the social media strategy for the company. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of social media management, team coordination, campaign oversight, performance tracking, and brand ownership.

You will be responsible for conducting thorough research on competitors, industry trends, and market dynamics. Your insights will inform and shape our marketing strategies, ensuring that we remain competitive and adaptive to changing market conditions. You also have the ability to market across a range of business needs from partnerships, regulatory landscapes, product updates, and developer marketing.

The role will report into the Communications Director.

Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with MoonPay's overall business objectives.
• Stay informed about industry trends and social media best practices to ensure MoonPay remains at the forefront of digital engagement.

Team Coordination:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate social media strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate with content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and impactful social media campaigns.

Go-To-Market Social Campaign Oversight for Products & Partnerships:

• Lead the planning and execution of Go-To-Market (GTM) social campaigns for new products and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure that social media campaigns align with product launches and partnership announcements.

Performance Tracking:

• Implement and utilize analytics tools to track the performance of social media campaigns.
• Analyze metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Leadership & Training:

• Take an active role in continuing to train and guide the performance of the project manager, social media contractor, and video content agency.

Guardian of the MoonPay Brand:

• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across all social media channels.
• Act as the guardian of the MoonPay brand, ensuring that all content reflects the company's values and messaging.

What you will need…:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a social media strategist or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics
• Ability to analyze data, conduct competitor analysis and derive actionable insights
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in the web3 or fintech industry is a plus
