Solutions Engineer

Taiko Labs is at the forefront of blockchain innovation, developing the Taiko ZK Rollup, a Layer 2 solution that scales Ethereum by faithfully emulating its technical and non-technical characteristics. Our solution, an Ethereum-equivalent (Type 1) ZK Rollup with based (fully permissionless) sequencing, enhances the performance of Ethereum by supporting all EVM opcodes within a decentralized, permission-less, and secure Layer 2/3 framework.

Comprising seasoned professionals who have been utilizing ZKPs since 2018, our team has the distinction of having built the first ZK-Rollup on Ethereum. We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team and contribute to making Taiko the easiest Ethereum environment for developers to build on. You will be responsible for helping the ecosystem partners to integrate smoothly into Taiko, helping the BD team on technical conversations, and creating resources and initiatives to make their experience exceptional. You will also represent Taiko in different conferences around the world.

• Bridge the gap between developers and business. Being able to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understand the needs of our ecosystem partners, helping them on integrations, solving technical questions and managing the relationship alongside the Partnerships team.
• Interface with developers to turn their feedback and frictions into product directions for the engineering team.
• Participate in conferences around the globe, representing Taiko on the ground and jumping on stage where needed.
• Organize and lead events, Hackatons, and other developer-focused programs.

• Strong understanding of Ethereum and its application ecosystem.
• Understanding of L2 scaling solutions and cryptographic primitives.
• Experience as a software engineer, or in a developer relations role, or existing integration within the Ethereum/solidity dev community.
• Willingness to work directly with partners. High people and communication skills is required.
• Willingness to travel to hackathons and other community events.
• Highly curious and always learning.
• A deep sense of ownership in your work, deriving joy from helping others.
