About The Role

As a Staff Solution Architect for Food, Hospitality, & Retail at Invisible you are viewed as an expert in your domain and support all customer engagements that require deep and authoritative industry knowledge. You should have a keen understanding of the architectural and technical requirements alongside the business acumen to map them to Invisible’s offerings and solutions. The Solutions Engineering team collaborates closely with both pre-sales and post-sales teams to bridge the technical gap between our customer needs and the solutions that drive game changing business outcomes. Leveraging your industry solutions expertise and your innovation mindset, you will be a strategic leader to both Product and Engineering teams, working with Sales and our Industry Strategists to bring the voice of the customer and keep our product roadmap as dynamic and relevant as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Implementation: Lead and implement complex solutions aligned with clients' business objectives, demonstrating technical feasibility through prototypes and detailed scoping.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Serve as the primary technical contact across your industry, build deep relationships with senior technical individuals and conduct workshops to gather detailed requirements.
  • Pre-sales and Technical Demonstrations: Support the sales team with technical expertise, deliver tailored technical demonstrations, and establish technical credibility in the sales cycle.
  • Thought Leadership: Maintain knowledge of industry trends, educate customers on solution value propositions and contribute to customer-facing publications.
  • Product Development Liaison: Communicate client requirements to product teams, contribute to the product roadmap, and act as a technical liaison between customers, product teams, and engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working as a Solutions Architect, Product Manager, or Technical Consultant delivering complex solutions involving automation or other technical integration.
  • Deep experience with Food or Retail related applications, such as POS, Supply chain solutions, etc.
  • Experience communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences and presenting to C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience working as an architect, designing and implementing large-scale solutions in the Food or Retail industries.
  • Strong leadership skills and a sense of ownership and accountability to work in a fast-moving and agile work environment.

Compensation:

  • Base: $160,000
  • Base + Bonus Target: $215,000
  • This role is eligible to participate in Invisible’s equity plan.

The amount listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
