Responsibilities
As a Strategy and Operations Lead for the Global Business Organization (GBO)/Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you will be responsible for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of key decisions and making sure the organization stays on top of its annual goals. You will partner closely with teams across GBO and GTM as well as cross-functionally with a varied set of stakeholders including Finance, People Operations, and others.
The Global Business Strategy (GBS) team helps make Google's complex business organization run smoothly. The group drives core planning activities and develops frameworks to integrate global business strategies across the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations. Experts in both Google’s go to market organization and the industries where we compete, they drive strategic and operational improvements while working closely with Senior Leadership on a range of critical initiatives and projects. The GBS team is at the forefront of addressing the Business organization’s most strategic priorities, reporting and working directly for Google's Chief Business Officer.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate strategy, business operations, or in a technology/media company.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a technical or quantitative field.
- Experience managing relationships and working cross-functionally within global organizations.
- Ability to maintain attention to execution details.
- Outstanding program management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ambiguous problem-solving and executive communication skills, with ability to facilitate meetings with executives and partner across multiple functions in an organization.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $169,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
