Responsibilities
Main task pool:
- Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.
- User Research: Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the overall user experience.
- Visual Design: Develop high-quality visuals and interface elements that align with the game’s artistic direction and enhance user engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to ensure the implementation of cohesive and appealing UI/UX designs.
- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to optimize usability and player satisfaction.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain detailed design specifications and guidelines for UI/UX design implementation.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure our game interfaces remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in the gaming industry, with a portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- User-Centric Approach: Understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about user experience and interface challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and consistency in visual design.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt and iterate designs based on user feedback and changing project requirements.
- Passion for Gaming: A deep love for mobile games, especially in the free-to-play segment, and a desire to create exceptional gaming experiences.
- Education: A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in role-playing shooters as a player.
- Experience working with Adobe Flash/Animate.
